The Grace E. and Kenneth W. DeBaun Auditorium Located in the historic Edwin A. Stevens Hall, on 5th Street between Hudson and River Streets, DeBaun Auditorium is a renovated proscenium theater with a mid-size stage and extensive lighting and sound capabilities. Seating 470, DeBaun is the home of the DeBaun Center for Performing Arts. DeBaun Center for Performing Arts was created to educate and enhance students at Stevens in the performing arts. The technical crew and house staff is comprised primarily of Stevens students who work on all aspects of the Center’s events. Workshops and series are created to further the education of the Stevens student in technical theater, acting, directing, general performance, and mutli-media. DeBaun is accessible to the physically challenged with ramp access to the building from the River Street entrance, elevator access to the balcony and limited wheelchair seating. Check DeBaun Center website for further information. |
