PerfEcTNet ® Research Group was formed by Dr. Fotios C. Harmantzis, Assistant Research Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, in 2003.  It attracts researchers, post-doctoral and graduate students with interest in telecommunications networks and multi-interdisciplinary background:  engineering, science, management, economics and finance.  The main research themes are in economics of networks, e.g., pricing methodologies, financials of the sector, etc., performance analysis, and investment decision making.  The research contributions target well recognized journals and international conferences in the field.  We work on establishing relations with the industry as well as other research groups in the country and abroad.  We also encourage visitors to spend time here conducting research, enjoying the life of metro New York.
