Dining at Stevens: Big Changes on the Way!

Our students recently expressed that they want their dining hall to be more than a traditional cafeteria. They want a place with options, where they feel comfortable being with friends while "refueling" for the next project. After all, the Stevens campus is their "home away from home". Therefore, the Office of Residence Life is excited to introduce you and your Stevens student to the newly transformed, renovated and remodeled, dining experience at Pierce Market! This is your child's passport to the cutting edge in college cuisine.

As of fall 2008 your child has one plan - The Ultimate Access Dining Plan. It's the only plan needed to enjoy Pierce Market to the utmost. This means your child can go there to eat-and have meals made fresh-as often as he or she wants, at any time of day between 7am and midnight. The menu includes favorites such as a pasta station, deli bar, and grilled entrees with sides and desserts. We are also adding new well-balanced food choices including an authentic vegetarian station and fun brick oven pizzas made fresh all day long.

We hope students also choose to use Pierce Market as a place to relax and convene. A new late-night dining experience called Pierce After Dark begins at 8pm each day. This provides an additional outlet for working together with peers on projects, relaxing, or enjoying an evening meal in new ultra-soft seating and wireless-access booths. Pierce After Dark's late-night menu features Starbucks Coffee, complete with an espresso bar and specialty desserts. We are so excited about this new approach, and are certain our students will enjoy its options, convenience, and fare.
