About PakSA

Pakistan Student Association (PakSA) was created in 1997 to introduce the Stevens Community to Pakistani culture, history and current events. PakSA is open to all Stevens students. Our mission is to promote the traditions and festivals of the Pakistani culture on and off campus. It is one of the most diverse ethnic organizations with people from India, Bangladesh, Middle East, Russia and we are we trying to broaden it even further.

Awards and Achievements:

  • PakSA has been one of the most active RSOs on campus, as we were awarded the co-winner of the Ethnic Student Council's (ESC) Most Active Organization Award in 2004 along with the Latin American Association.

  • PakSA also won the "Best Performance Award" in 2004 ESC's Unity Show for its witty skit and energetic bhangra.

  • Furthermore, PakSA was recognized by Student Life for its extraordinary contributions to the university, students and campus life and was awarded the 2005 Harvey N. Davis Award.
