OSR has prepared two model budget justification templates for fiscal year 2008 for use in support of budgets for sponsored research proposals. Component information should be tailored to the specific situation of the project.
The standard SIT budget justification template includes language to help you explain the major categories of expenses in a budget. Fill in information as directed and delete references to budget items that do not appear in your budget.
The NSF budget justification template is formatted to match the NSF budget form. Fill in information as directed and delete references to budget items that do not appear in your budget. The final justification can be uploaded into FastLane. Please address any questions to the OSR staff.
