Conflict of Interest Policies
A critical area of regulatory compliance for the Institute and for investigators is that of conflict of interest. Besides the general obligation of the Institute to have an established written policy to adjudicate and monitor such conflicts that may arise, each principal investigator and co-principal investigator has certification obligations on financial conflict of interest that must be met prior to submission of proposals to the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health/Public Health Service (NIH/PHS).
