DIRECTIONS TO STEVENS
FROM POINTS
NORTH/NEW ENGLAND AREA
Take Route 95 South to the George
Washington Bridge (GWB). Cross the GWB and follow signs to the NJ
Turnpike South. Follow signs to the Lincoln Tunnel (Exit 17).
After tollbooth, follow signs to the Lincoln Tunnel/Route 495.
Exit at the sign for Hoboken, which is the last exit in New
Jersey. Proceed through traffic light, down incline. Bear right at
fork (parallel to Hudson River). Continue to fifth traffic light
and make left onto 14th Street (Malibu Diner on far
right). At third traffic light, make right onto Washington Street.
Proceed to 9th Street and make a left. Go up hill two
blocks onto the Stevens campus. The Office of Career Development
is located on the 9th floor of the Wesley J. Howe
Center Building.
FROM THE NEW
JERSEY TURNPIKE*
Take
New Jersey Turnpike North to the exit marked 14A, 14B, 14C. This
is the Newark Bay Extension of the Turnpike. Pass exits 14A and
14B and come to toll booth, which is 14C. Get into the left lane
and follow sign to Holland Tunnel. At first traffic light (major
intersection) make a left onto Jersey Avenue (Port Authority
Garage will be on far corner). Continue on Jersey Avenue to the
train tracks and bear right under train trestle. This becomes
Observer Highway. Proceed ¾ mile through several traffic lights,
turn left on Washington Street. Proceed to 9th Street
and make a right. Go up hill two blocks onto the Stevens campus.
The Office of Career Development is located on the 9th
floor of the Wesley J. Howe Center Building.
FROM ROUTE
46/ROUTE 3
Take Route 46 East
to Route 3 East. Proceed on Route 3 East (approximately 12 miles)
and follow signs to Lincoln Tunnel/Rt. 495. Proceed to the Hoboken
exit, which is the last exit in New Jersey. (Follow above
directions "From Points North").
FROM POINTS
WEST/ROUTE 78
Take Route 78 Express lanes to
the New Jersey Turnpike North. Follow New Jersey Turnpike
directions above. Please note that Hoboken, NJ is located north of
the Holland Tunnel and south of the Lincoln Tunnel and is across
the Hudson River from Manhattan. If driving, please allow time
for traffic congestion - it is suggested you allow at least 30
min. Stevens is easily accessible by NJ Transit trains, buses
and the PATH. The Office of Career Development is located on the 9th
floor of the Wesley J. Howe Center Building.
