Stevens, a partner in Team EMPOWERHOUSE, has built a zero-energy passive house that will compete in the 2011 Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon. We would like to invite you to an Open House on Friday, September 23from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at #204 200 Decathlete Way on the National Mall, West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. At this event, you will have the opportunity to tour the house and meet the students responsible for its design and construction.
Team EMPOWERHOUSE collaborated with Habitat for Humanity during the design phase of the house; as a result of this relationship, the house used in the competition will become a home for a family in the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, D.C.!
