New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame Recognizes Four Members of Stevens Community This month, four members of the Stevens community joined a long list of renowned inventors when they were honored at the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame (NJIHoF), an annual event hosted by Stevens' Office of Academic Entrepreneurship. Stevens Multimedia Launches Large-Scale Musical Fundraiser to Support Veterans Stevens Multimedia (SMM) set out this semester to vocalize their gratitude for college-age soldiers and veterans. Dubbed Project Eleven, the initiative invites college-age bands and musicians to submit songs for an album to support veteran's charities Stevens Veterans Office Serves Those Who Served Us The Stevens Veterans Office is committed to educating and supporting members of all five branches of the military. In the last two years, it has served more than 50 veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – as well as current military personnel and their children – at the graduate and undergraduate level. The Cyber Threat: Stevens Hosts Expert Speaker on Defending America's Information Infrastructure The cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges facing America. "State of the Hack," a guest lecture from internationally recognized cybersecurity expert Kevin Mandia, shared best practices in defending our information and communications infrastructure. The event was part of the newly revamped Deans' Seminar Series.
