Celebrating its 140th Anniversary this year, Stevens has launched several significant branding campaigns to elevate the presence of the University. In addition, Stevens has taken the opportunity of this milestone anniversary to honor inspirational alumni, including Frank J. Semcer, ’65, principal and CEO of the NJ-based Micro Stamping Corporation, who received the inaugural Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in February. Semcer is also one of the featured alumni in the video.  The interviews, brief segments of which are included in this video, feature reflections on what Stevens stands for and its influence on the careers and lives of these alumni.  Also featured in this video are Jeffrey J. Wilcox, Corporate VP for Engineering for Lockheed Martin and David S. Rose, CEO of Angelsoft and a leader in technology investing.

“As part of our year-long celebration of Stevens’ 140th Anniversary, we are leveraging multimedia to enhance our online and mobile presence, we’ve recently launched our new iPhone app, and are now launching a new University logo,” says Michael Schinelli, AVP of Graduate Marketing and Communications. “Our goal with developing the new logo was to capture and express the essence of the Stevens brand and culture of innovation with a mark that would truly represent the University. This video project and the asset archive it has yielded were created with this same intent. JTP|FIFTH has been a tremendous partner, bringing an amazing level of creativity to this project.”

Tyler Pappas, Executive Producer, JTP|FIFTH, says: “We worked to ensure that this video would reflect Stevens’ vibrant and pioneering core. The Stevens alumni interviews inspired the creative direction of the piece. These are industry leaders, shaped by their Stevens education and experience, that are now spearheading projects that will shape the future.”
