School of Systems and Enterprises Announces Travel Award for Graduates Attending Professional Conferences
Enhancing the Professional Development of Graduate Students is a Strategic Goal at SSE
Professional conferences provide students an extremely valuable platform to present their research papers, to network, and to start developing skills that will empower them in the professional workplace.
To augment the learning experience and professional growth of students, the School of Systems & Enterprises (SSE) is offering a conference travel award to full-time SSE graduate students who travel for research or professional development.
"At Stevens, student-centricity is one of our strategic goals," said Dinesh Verma, dean and professor, School of Systems and Enterprises, Stevens Institute of Technology. "We are committed to the holistic development of our students - to provide an academic, professional, and personal ecosystem that will enable students to achieve their greatest potential."
With the SSE Graduate Conference Travel Award, students can receive up to two travel awards per academic year. The travel awards range from $0-$1000. The applications for the travel award must be received no less than 30 days prior to the conference start date. Learn more about the SSE Graduate Conference Travel Award application process.
Please note, funds are limited, and based on availability. An application does not guarantee funding support.
The SSE Graduate Conference Travel Award funding support is available in addition to the funding provided for SSE graduate students who have applied for the Graduate Conference Fund (GCF) Office of Graduate Student Affairs (OGSA). Get more information about the OGSA GCF application process.
