Leslie Brunell
Associate Teaching Professor
Leslie R. Brunell, a lecturer in Civil Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology and a Stevens alumna, specializes in the field of water resources and civil engineering.
Brunell offers expertise in urban and rural wastewater and storm drainage systems, in addition to planning construction around an area’s geological makeup. She currently serves as director of the Graduate Water Resources Program at Stevens. She was awarded the Educator of the Year award by the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Brunell is affiliated with several professional societies, including the American Water Resources Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Engineering Educators.
