What is NSF I-CorpsTM?
NSF Innovation Corps (I‐Corps) provides $50,000 grants to NSF-funded researchers to identify valuable commercial applications for their technology, and offers entrepreneurial training to participating teams. The program provides research tools, skills, and resources you need to turn your research into a startup venture. We have had several teams from Stevens go through the iCorps process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot9VVi8AmqM

NYCRIN regional I-Corps provides a way for regional (NYC area) students and faculty to participate in I-Corps training without being NSF-funded. The curriculum will closely follow that of the NSF I-Corps program and focus on commercializing research via a startup venture. This program will be free for admitted applicant teams. Application deadline is January 15th, 2014.
