A talk by philosopher Peter Singer.

Friday, October 19, 2012, 4-5:30 p.m. Babbio Auditorium.

Peter Singer is one of the most influential—and controversial—moral philosophers in the world. Holding joint appointments at Princeton and the University of Melbourne, he is renowned for his writings on the ethical dimensions of animal rights, abortion, euthanasia, poverty and inequality, globalization, health care and other issues. In this talk, less than three weeks before Election Day, Singer will address knotty ethical issues raised by the 2012 Presidential campaign.
