Distinguished Professor and Director of Telecommunications Management Department
Audrey Curtis has an extensive industrial career in telecommunications and currently serves as director of the Telecom Management Department at Stevens, which addresses the increasingly demanding and specialized requirements for executives managing businesses in the communications industry.
She has 26 years experience at AT&T Labs, Bell Labs and Concert. Her last assignment was as vice president for technology strategy and product alignment for the joint venture between AT&T and British Telecom (Concert). She also served as chief technology officer for a communications start-up, eLink Communications, providing broadband services to small and medium sized business customers.
Curtis serves as advisory board member of the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) in addition to maintaining an active membership with the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). She received a B.A. from Simmons College, M.S. from Polytechnic University and Ph.D. in Random Walk Model for Same-Different Judgments in Word Recognition from New York University.
