140th Commencement Ceremony
Thursday, May 24, 2012 – ( 10:30 am to 5:30 pm )
Location: DeBaun Athletic Complex
Stevens Institute of Technology will celebrate the Class of 2012 during its 140th Commencement
Held on the Hoboken, NJ campus, the undergraduate ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and the graduate at 4:30 p.m. The complete undergraduate ceremony will be held at the DeBaun Athletic Complex immediately following the traditional procession of graduates. The graduate ceremony will begin the same way, but this year will feature smaller break-outs by individual school; the Charles V. Schaefer Jr. School of Engineering and Science, the School of Systems and Enterprises and the Wesley J. Howe School of Technology Management will each have their own ceremony for degree conferment.
Due to predicted thunder and lightning conditions this afternoon, we are making changes in the Graduate Commencement Ceremony.
In the Canavan Arena a ceremony will be held for all Ph.D candidates, the School of Engineering and Science and the Information Systems (MSIS) program in the Howe School.
In the DeBaun Auditorium, located in the Edwin A Stevens building, a ceremony will be held for all other Howe School programs.
In the Burchard 118, a ceremony for the School of Systems and Enterprises will be held.
If you have already picked up a cap and gown you and your guests can proceed directly to your ceremony location.
Those who need to pick a cap and gown can do so in the Canavan Arena lobby.
Guest seating will limited to room capacity
