- Meetings
The Newman Association meets every week on Wednesdays;
our meetings are open to all members of the Stevens
community. Sign up for the mailing list or check this
web site frequently for exact meeting times, locations,
and topics.
Young Adult Mass
On Sundays at 7:00 P.M., the Newman Association, in
conjunction with the
Catholic
Young Adults of Hoboken (CYAH), sponsors a Young
Adult Mass at
Saints Peter and Paul Church, located on 4th and
Hudson Streets in Hoboken, NJ. One Sunday each month is
completely ministered by Stevens students.
Lay Ministry
To enhance the celebration of the Liturgy, anyone
interested in serving as a Lector, Music Minister,
Minister of the Eucharist, or Minister of Hospitality
will be trained and mandated.
Events
In addition to the Young Adult Mass, our
organization holds various events open to the Stevens
community, such as post-Mass social gatherings, museum
visits, and community service opportunities. Past events
have included day and weekend retreats, visits to Saint
Patrick's Cathedral and the Jewish Heritage Museum, soup
kitchens, etc.

The Newman Association at Stevens is
an active member of the Stevens Campus Ministry Council, the New
Jersey Catholic Campus Ministry Network, the National Catholic
Campus Ministry Association, and the National Catholic Student
Coalition. We are a Recognized Student Organization chartered by the
Stevens Student Government Association. |
