The Mathematics Immersion Program (MIP) is a summer enrichment program designed to help undergraduate students improve their mathematics skills, and broaden their use of computers as a learning tool. MIP is sponsored by the State of New Jersey, Commission on Higher Education, Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program and operated out of the office of the Stevens Technical Enrichment Program (STEP) at Stevens Institute of Technology. MIP was instituted in 1987 and since that time it has served over 300 students from at least 35 New Jersey colleges and universities.
