A method for securing an endovascular stent-graft in place from within the aorta using spiral nitinol clips. Doing so allows successfull combination of the security of the more invasive open surgery and the ease and finacial merits of endovascular surgery. The proposed device can be used on any stent-graph and it may protentially be extended to other uses.
