| Requesting Books from the BEEM Collection |
 |
The BEEM Collection contains material compiled by Dr. Don Merino for use in the engineering management program at Stevens. While most of the collection is stored in the library, some handbooks, conference proceedings, and books on cost estimation and engineering economy have been removed to the School of Systems Engineering.
BEEM books stored in the library are available for in-house use. Access to the material is restricted and requests for BEEM books must be submitted in advance in order for the library staff to verify the availability of the book. Requests are filled Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and users should allow at least 24 hours for the requests to filled. BEEM books are obtained from the library circulation desk, and they are not allowed out of the library under any circumstance. Users must leave their I.D.'s at the circulation desk while they use BEEM material.
To request a BEEM book, users should fill out the form below. They will receive confirmation on the availability of material when it has been pulled from the shelves and taken to the circulation desk. If the item is not available in the library, the requester will be notified to contact Dr. Merino's office for further information.
