| September 2, 2009 Library looking for Grad Student worker A graduate student position is available in the S.C. Williams Library’s web services department.
The job is for 20 hours per week, and involves updating and maintaining the library's website. The preferred candidate is a graduate student in the computer science department, with strong web development and design skills.
Responsibilities: Work closely with the Web Services Librarian to enhance and modify the library website, developed in the typ03 content management system. The preferred candidate is self motivated, detail oriented, writes clean code, and is familiar with good website standards and testing procedures.
Requirements: Strong web design skills including php, css, rss, javascript, html, XML, familiarity with APIs, and experience with content management systems. Excellent problem solving and communication skills and strong attention to detail are required.
