The Indian Undergraduate Association, or the IUA as we are often called, promotes Indian culture on the Stevens Campus. Apart from our Indian food sales, the IUA organizes two annual cultural festivals. In the fall semester, we organize the Diwali Show to celebrate the Indian Festival of Lights and in the spring semester we organize the Holi Show to celebrate the Indian Festival of Colors. Apart from giving students taste of exquisite Indian food, these shows also provide students with the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of India.

Throughout the semester the IUA also sponsors other events like our Wednesday Movie Series, Socials, and Open Mic nights among others.

The IUA is also a very active member of the Ethnic Student Council. Apart from participating in the Annual Unity show of the ESC, members of IUA take a keen interest in interacting with other Ethnic Organizations on campus.

The IUA not only represents India but it also provides the whole South Asian populace a banner to represent themselves, and interact with students of other ethnicities. We are looking at a great and energetic year ahead, and look forward to working together with you in making this organization a success.
