The Stevens Wireless Network consists of three wireless networks broadcast throughout campus, both indoors and outdoors. Stevens is currently running a g-network.
- Stevens - Faculty/Staff wireless network.
- Stevens Student - Student wireless network.
- Stevens Guest - Unencrypted guest network which requires https based authentication.
The two primary networks, Stevens and Stevens Student use 802.1x authentication which allows for easy and secure authentication. All that is required to connect to these networks is a machine that supports 802.1x authentication and a Campus Domain Account, there is no need to register your computer with us. For more information about 802.1x, you can visit the wikipedia article.
