Room Capabilities
- One ceiling mounted LCD projector
- Pixie Controlled
- VCR, DVD
- VGA input
- Wired network connections located underneath tables
- Wireless Network Connectivity
- Fully controllable lighting system
Projector Operation
A Pixie control board is used to operate the projector in the room. It can be found on the wall behind the podium.
Turning on the Projector
- To turn on the projector, press the Power button on the Pixie Controller.
- The projector should now begin turning on.
Plugging in a Laptop
In order to use your laptop as the input for the projector, follow the below steps:
- Turn on the projector by using the Pixie Controller
- Plug the provided VGA cable into your computer
- Press Source on the Pixie Controller
- The Source Search menu will appear on the screen.
- NOTE: It will take 8 seconds for the menu to disappear upon finding an input.
- If you do not see your image being projected, ensure that your Operating System is configured to do so.
Using the VCR/DVD Combo
The VCR/DVD combo is located in the podium, under the top shelf. Follow the below steps to view a VCR or DVD on the projection system.
- Turn on the projector by using the Pixie Controller
- Insert your media into the DVD/VCR combo
- VCR tapes can be inserted into the VCR opening
- Use the Eject button to gain access to the DVD tray
- Press the Source button on the Pixie Controller
- Your media should now be projected
Adjusting the Volume
The volume of the DVD/VCR combo can be adjusted through the Pixie Control Board.
- Use the respective Volume controls to raise or lower the volume.
Turning off the Projector
- To turn off the projector, press the Power button on the Pixie Controller
- A menu will appear requesting confirmation, press Power again
- The projector will now shut down
