Find a MAC Address on Windows XP and 2000

Instructions

Step 1: Open run dialog

Click the Start Menu button then click the Run... link to open the run dialog.

Step 2: Open cmd

Type cmd into the text box and hit Enter or click Run. This will open the command line.

Type ipconfig /all and hit enter.

Step 3: Run ipconfig

Step 4: Extract the MAC Address

Look under the type of connect you're finding and navigate to the Physical Address listing. This is the MAC Address for that adapter.
