Linux Screenshot Tutorial

You can take a screen shot from within Gnome (tested on Ubuntu 8.04) by navigating to Applications -> Accessories -> Screenshot.

The screen shot application will allow you to capture one window or the entire desktop immediately or after a short timeout.
