Aspen 7.0 is Outdated
Aspen 7.0 has been discontinued due to more recent versions of the program.
The files for installing Aspen 7.0 are no longer available, and the Information Technology Helpdesk will no longer provide support for issues with the installation of Aspen 7.0.
Please install Aspen 7.1 or Aspen 7.2.

Aspen Installation Documentation:

1. Log into \\Storage01\ms and open the Aspen 7 folder

2. Open the Aspen Install folder

3. Open the dvdBrowser

4. If you receive a file security warning click Run

5. After the AspenTech Installation Browser opens, click on the Products tab and click OK on the pop-up window indicating that you will need a valid license

6. Click Next on the AspenTech Installation Browser-Welcome screen

7. Select License Server on AspenTech Installation Browser – License Configuration Type and click Next

8. In the License Server field enter the server IP 155.246.149.154 and click Add Server, then click Next

9. After Aspen determines what licenses are available, click Next

10. Click on the Products tab, select Aspen Engineering and click Install

11. Click Next

13. Select "Yes, I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click Next

14. Choose Standard Install and click Next

15. Click Next

16. Select the features that you wish to install and click Next

18. In the Aspen Framework Server Field enter the server IP 155.246.149.154 and click Next

22. Enter the log on information for your computer

24. Check the box to Skip user name/password validation and click Next

25. Click Install

26. Wait while your computer installs Aspen. This will take some time and will depend on how many features you are choosing to install

27. When the installation completes click Finish

28. Click Yes if you would like to restart your computer

Aspen Documentation Installation

1. Log into \\Storage01\ms and open the Aspen 7 folder

2. Open the Aspen Documentation folder

3. Click on dvdBrowser

4. Select AspenONE Documentation DVD and click Install

5. Click Next

6. Click Yes, I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next

7. Click Next

8. Select the documentation features that you wish to install and click Next

9. Click Install

10. Allow the documentation to install and click Finish
