NEW STUDENTS
New students coming to Stevens have a lot to do, and require a lot of information. The International Student and Scholar Services office is sensitive to the fact that students coming to the U.S. for the first time may experience emotional and physical discomfort as they adjust to the new demands of living and studying in this country. We try to offer as much support as possible and assist them in this process. Stevens has many ethnic student organizations, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, that are very active on campus. Often these organizations are able to provide the initial community support to the new student. The links below will hopefully answer most of your questions. Please email
Christopher Marra, or Courtney Cunningham if you have questions that didn't get answered. Thank You.

Transfer Process
The first step to transferring to Stevens is to apply, and be accepted. Once you are accepted, you need the document listed below.
-
Transfer Form signed by your current international advisor. The form can be downloaded from the forms page of our website
www.stevens.edu/iss. In addition, you will need to ask your international advisor to release your records to us in SEVIS.
-
If you are on Optional Practical Training, please be advised that issuance of a new I-20 for a new degree program will terminate the OPT, so you will want to wait until your OPT is completed before doing the school transfer.
