Professor
Professor Ohring is now completing 35 years of service at Stevnes Institute of Technology. His most notable scholary activity over the past decade has been the publication of three books as a sole author. Thesis topics of his last Ph.D. students were "Electron Backscatter Diffraction and Focused Ion-Beam Studies of VLSI aluminum Interconnect Microstrucutre (1996) and ":Reactions Between Thin Films of Tungsten and Molybdenum and Polycrystalline Diamond Substrates (1996). He currently advises two Ph.D. students working in the area of reactive magnetron sputteirn of Al2O3 films and plasma cleaning of metal surfaces.
