Q. What are the admission requirements to apply to this program?
A. Students must have a bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher, complete an application, provide two letters of recommendation and supply their original undergraduate transcripts. International Students are required to provide TOEFL scores and GRE/GMAT scores.
Q. How long does it take to complete this degree program?
A. Full-time students are expected to take 3 courses each regular semester (summer optional) and to complete the program in 2 years. Part-time students who take 2 courses each semester and 1 each summer should be able to complete the program in 2 years.
Part-time students who move at a slower pace, will be expected to complete the program in no more than 6 years, after which time the coursework begins to expire.
Q. How are courses offered?
A. On-campus courses are scheduled in the the 14-week, 2.5 hr/week format in order to allow for sufficient time to explore the foundational material necessary to proceed effectively in the program. Stevens offers courses in a variety of formats including:
• Traditional: 14-week format
• Summer: 6-weeks, meet 2 times week, or 12 weeks once a week

Q. How are the courses structured?
A. Traditional courses are taught as lectures/seminars. Web campus and hybrid courses offered in other formats are designed to offer the same type of classroom experience as the traditional format. Some classes use online discussion, chats, blogs, electronic portfolios, and other mechanisms as ways to enhance the course experience. Classes taught fully online deliver lectures through a variety of means, and use any or all of the above mechanisms to ensure student participation, comprehension, and performance.
Q. Can I take courses as a non-matriculating student?
A. Yes you can take classes as non-matriculating student. A Non-Matriculating graduate student at Stevens is one who wishes to enroll in specific courses without a degree objective or who has applied for admission to a degree program and has been allowed to enroll for one semester pending review of his or her application. Under normal conditions, you may take up to 3 courses (9 credits) as a Non-Matriculating student. The Stevens Office of Graduate Admissions requires that all non-matriculating students fill out a Non-Matriculating Application Form in order to process your application. Completed forms should be faxed to the Office of Graduate Admissions at fax (201) 216-8044.

A. Stevens allows up to 9 graduate credits to be transferred from other accredited graduate programs, if the credits have not been applied to a conferred degree. The courses must be evaluated by Stevens for applicability to the desired Stevens graduate study plan/degree.
