Academic Advising

Students admitted to the MBA program are assigned a faculty academic advisor whose job is to provide guidance to students on academic issues associated with their chosen course of study. This includes course selection, substitution, study plan approval,  and concerns arising during the program.  Note:  Students are required to deliver a study plan, approved by their advisor, to the Registrar by the end of the first semester.

Students should take full advantage of the advising opportunities available to them by arranging visits or telephone calls with their faculty academic advisor. The name of the student's advisor is in their admission packet. Advisors are assigned according to specific concentration as indicated in the following table:

Students should consult the Howe School Student & Faculty Support Center for  practical information on the program curriculum, and help with class selection and registration. The Center can  assist them in navigating the various administrative offices at Stevens and dealing with the complexities of the school's policies and procedures. The Center also has current information regarding other programs at the Howe School, and will aid students in designing a graduate study plan to meet their unique professional needs, and ensuring that all degree requirements are met prior to graduation.
