Message from the Director

In a world of marketplace volatility and consistent change, companies need adaptable business leaders who know how to develop organizational strategies that responds to the demands, risks, and opportunities that drive results. The Master of Science in Management program focuses on the practice of management in technical and non-technical organizations. The program encompasses a variety of analytic and administrative skills drawn from the disciplines of accounting, economics, organizational behavior and design, and quantitative methods.

Knowledge of these skills alone does not guarantee success as a manager. Rather, it is the steady development and blending of conceptual, strategic and integrative skills that enable succesful managers to identify organizational problems, analyze them, synthesize solutions, and implement the decisions. These are the skills that are the halllmark of the successful manager and which signal growth of professional competence. It is these skills and accompanying discipline knowledge that the MSM program seeks to impart.

I wish you every success in the program.
