International students should apply in their third semester in the program after satisfying the minimum time in U.S. requirement. Application instructions may be found at the Office of Career Development’s web site

  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

The CPT allows international students studying full time on an F-1 visa to work in a paid position at a sponsoring company thereby gaining important industry experience. Information and application instructions are available at the web site of International Student & Scholar Services. BI&A students must be enrolled in BIA 702 Curriculum Practical Training.

BI&A Internships and Scholarships

Practical work experience is an important part of the MS in BI&A program. In particular, it is expected that all full-time students will be working in industry as an intern at the time that they are taking the required capstone, “practicum,” course.

Internships

Companies supporting the BI&A program provide a number of internships especially for BI&A students. The available internships and application instructions may be found at the Office of Career Development’s web site

Scholarships

The BI&A program offers a limited number of scholarships for both full-time and part-time MS in BI&A students. Students may apply for scholarships on admission to the program. Award amounts vary with the source of funding. To apply: Contact the Program Director by email at: estohr@stevens.edu
