Welcome to the Howe School of Technology Management Ph.D. in Technology Management.

The Howe School is one of the leading schools in Technology Management in the USA and offers a unique Ph.D. program. Following the school’s vision to become leaders in the creation and dissemination of knowledge that drives successful innovation in products, processes and businesses the Ph.D. program is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the creation and augmentation of technology driven innovations. Three different knowledge domains (Information Management, Technology and Innovation Management and Social Computing) are integrated to a cohesive and innovative Ph.D. program.

The faculty is deeply committed to academic excellence and we prepare our students to conduct innovative and creative research related to current and relevant Technology and Innovation Management issues in private and public organizations.

Because we keep our program small, our students will have ready access to our top scholars who serve on editorial boards, who publish papers in top journals, who are nationally and internationally awarded for their academic work and who continuously receive prestigious research funds. Our students find our program very "user friendly" and never feel anonymous because we cultivate a caring and nurturing academic environment.

As a unique feature our program fosters skills to create and apply that are beyond the general skill development of common Ph.D. programs to understand and analyze. Students who have completed the program will be prepared to independently conduct creative and innovative research projects enabling them to join the faculty of leading academic institutions or to take high-level positions in industry that require analytical thinking and technology related creativity.

If you are a high-energy person interested in management education and scholarship, we invite you to join us at the Howe School. To learn more about earning your PhD at Howe School, please read through the information on our website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
