The Howe School of Technology Management at the Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Operations Management at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, starting September 2013.
A Ph.D. degree in Operations Management or in any of the related fields, such as production management, operations research, industrial engineering, information systems, or logistics, is required. In addition, applicants need to demonstrate research activity in the use of quantitative models and information technology in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, as well as potential for further high impact research in this area. Prior professional experience in project management, and supply chain analytics, as well as knowledge of an industry sector (e.g. retail, financial, etc.) would be considered a plus. Finally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach at all levels, including undergraduate, masters, and doctoral.
