Description
The Residence Life Program at Stevens is based on the belief that
residence hall living provides an opportunity for students to gain a
variety of personal learning experiences which supplement and compliment
formal classroom learning.
The goal of the Program is to develop and maintain an
environment that is supportive of students’ academic endeavors and
promotes individual development. The involvement of students in
the residence hall community is key to making the residence halls a
place where students can:
- Meet other students and successfully live together.
- Assume responsibility for their own lives and living environment.
- Participate in a variety of educational, social, and cultural
activities.
- Develop skills through participation in residence life and campus
activities that will enhance their college experience and prepare them
to become responsible members of the campus, as well as the outside
communities in which they will live upon graduation.
