Gear & Triangle Application

All students of Stevens Institute of Technology may fill out an application for the Gear & Triangle Honor Society.  The application will consider students for the Dean's Activities Honor List.  If the applicant meets other requirements, they may be considered for the Gear & Triangle Award and membership into Gear & Triangle. To nominate yourself for the Dean's Activities Honor List, fill out the application form and return it to the Office of Student Life (10th floor of the Howe Center) or email it to the office.

Dean's Activities Honor List

The Dean's Activities Honor List recognizes those individuals within the Stevens undergraduate population who have devoted themselves to enhancing student life on campus by a committed involvement in extracurricular activities.

Membership into Gear & Triangle

Students who have completed four academic semesters and are selected for the Dean's Activities Honor List will be considered for membership into Gear & Triangle.

Gear & Triangle Award

A first semester sophomore selected for the Dean's Activities Honor List may be considered for the Gear & Triangle Award. The Gear & Triangle Alumni established this award in 1991 in order to recognize returning sophomores who were very active in their freshman year. The recipient of this award also reflects the principles set forth by the founding members since 1919. If you are a first semester sophomore and would like to be considered for the award, apply above.
