Stevens Grant
The Stevens Grant is a need-based award offered to students who continue to demonstrate financial need after any other possible sources of grant and scholarship assistance, from Stevens, the US Department of Education or the State of New Jersey have been applied to the financial aid package. This type of assistance is only available to full-time undergraduates, and eligibility is reviewed each year, based on the data supplied by the student and his or her family on the FAFSA. The amount of Stevens Grant may fluctuate from one year to the next if financial circumstances change significantly; In most cases the grant amount will not increase but it may decrease due to change in financial circumstances. Those families whose FAFSA information does not change significantly will usually see the Stevens Grant remain constant, provided the priority deadline of April 15th is met.
The Stevens Grant has no specific grade point average requirement other than the Institutes standards for Satisfactory Academic Progress. The Stevens Grant requires full-time enrollment (at least 12 credits). If the student is enrolled for fewer than 12 credits in a term, the grant will be cancelled for that term. Students can only be considered for the Stevens Grant for a maximum of eight semesters.
