Your Family at Stevens
Here at FAST, being an RSO is not enough. We build bridges between the members of the organization. We do this by creating a sense of family with everyone around us. The differences within the group will come together and create the most diverse and cultured family no one as ever seen. As the engineering saying goes: "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts."
Now how does FAST do that? Like in your normal families, you have your titos and titas, kuyas, Ates, and adings. Lost? Well, they are the Filipino terms for members of your family. Here in FAST, you will have just that. Uncles and aunts, brothers and sisters, and of course that grandpa and grandma (which are known as lolos and lolas, respectively). Newcomers will receive a Kuya/Ate, which is basically like the Big Brother program. Therefore, you have someone to take care of you when you join FAST, and you can be a kuya/ate to another member too. We will also assign you to a FAST Family, which is a smaller group within FAST that you can spend time with. But before we go onto that, you should meet the heads of the family: the Executive board and Minor Board.
Meet the head of the family and the leaders of FAST. The are all there to keep the family going all year round. Don't be afraid to meet them person. They're just like you. From basketball to anime, the Executive Board consists of many different trends and traditions.
