CES Hydroglobe Research & Entrepreneurship Award

The CES Hydroglobe Award was established by Professors George Korfiatis, Christos Christodoulatos, Xiaoguang Meng, founding donors with personal gifts from proceeds of the sale of Hydroglobe, the first Technogenesis company to be sold and for which the three were the founders.
It is given annually to the senior capstone design projects that exemplify research and entrepreneurship. The award consists of a plaque and a check for each member of the design teams and winners are selected during the annual senior design expo.

Novelty & Impact Is the approach novel and based on sound scientific and engineering principles? Do the results extend beyond the specific project or system area?
Commercialization Potential (Entrepreneurship) Does the product process address specific applications or societal needs? What is the market potential of the product or process?
