Dr. Shlomo Wald has served as Chief Scientist of Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructures since 2007. This ministry is responsible for R&D and future planning for the State of Israel in the fields of energy, earth & ocean studies, national resources in addition to other areas. Dr. Wald previously spent 20 years as a research scientist at the Propulsion Physics Laboratory at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center in Yavneh, Israel.
