Tau Beta Pi
Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It is the nation's second-oldest honor society, founded at Lehigh University in 1885 to recognize students of distinguished scholarship and exemplary character.
Gear & Triangle
Outstanding participation in extracurricular activities at Stevens is prerequisite to invitational membership in this society, unique to Stevens. Students in their fourth term or later who have vigorously taken part in extracurricular life are eligible for membership in the organization. Gear And Triangle recognizes similar enthusiasm in other students, in conjunction with the Dean's Office, by publishing the Dean's Activities Honors List. Elections are held late in the spring term.
Khoda
A leadership honor society which addresses important issues when deemed necessary concerning students and student organizations. This society assures that there is a unified effort between students and the rest of the Stevens community to uphold and promote a high quality of life.
Alpha Epsilon Delta
This is the Honors Premedical Society branch at Stevens. AED usually deals with Health Related Careers and works closely with the Pre-Med Society. The AED usually holds a health fair every year, a trip to UMDNJ, an agreement for MCAT reviews with the Princeton Review at discounted prices, and volunteer work with St. Mary Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.
Theta Alpha Phi
Theta Alpha Phi is an honors society rather than a recognition association or activity club. It confers nationally recognized honor on graduate and undergraduate students who earn a specified high level of quality in theater study and production at over 36 selected, accredited colleges and universities in 22 states. | American Society of Mechanical Engineers | |

ISA stands for Instrument Society of America. It is the International Society for Measurement and Control, and it is an important professional engineering organization.
The chapter has two main purposes: to promote the professional development of members by programs and relations to other student chapters and to the national organization of ISA; and to contribute to the development of diverse engineering fields at Stevens Institute of Technology through activities involving chapter members and faculty.
ISA helps students familiarize themselves with industry by holding meetings which are sponsored by well known engineering companies. The Society of Automotive Engineers is your one-stop resource for technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.
Nearly 80,000 engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries form our network of membership who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. More than 16,000 volunteer leaders serve on our Board of Directors and our many other boards, councils and committees. Our technical committees write more new aerospace and automotive engineering standards than any other standards-writing organization in the world. We publish thousands of technical papers and books each year, and leading-edge periodicals and Internet and CD-ROM products too. Our Cooperative Research Program helps facilitate projects that benefit the mobility industry as a whole.
