Continuing Education for Busy Professionals

The School of Engineering offers non-credit courses for individuals looking to take classes for professional licensing requirements or for continuing education purposes.  Stevens Continuing Education courses are generally delivered at the request of its Coporate Partners, and pertain to trends in industry or specific topic areas. 

Students who enroll in Stevens continuing education courses can earn continuing education units (CEU's) and/or professional development hours (PDH's) depending on their professional and/or educational needs.

Pharmaceutical Process Engineering

New Graduate Certificate for Pharmaceutical Industry Professionals

This four course, 12-credit graduate program is designed to provide students with a solid overview and thorough understanding of the chemical engineering principles involved in process development. 

Courses cover existing and emerging technologies used in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty chemical industries.

Courses are taught by industry experts and current practitioners in collaboration with Stevens faculty.

FE Exam Prep Course

One of the School of Engineering’s latest continuing education offerings is its New Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Prep course.

The FE Exam Prep course is targeted to corporate/industry professionals looking to sit for the FE Exam.

Coordinated and taught by Dr. Yusuf Billah, and a team of Stevens Engineering faculty, this six week intensive course, will provide industry professionals with a thorough review of the core engineering competencies measured by the FE Exam.

SDOE

The Schaefer School of Engineering offers Executive Level Graduate Education through its' renowned Systems Design and Operational Effectiveness (SDOE) program.  Directed by Dr. Dinesh Verma, Associate Dean, Charles V. Schaefer Jr. School of Engineering, the SDOE program has become one of the university's most noteable and distinguished programs within the commercial and department of defense industries.

Geared to busy executives and senior level managers, the SDOE program is offered in one week intensive modules, allowing partcipants to take Systems Engineering courses for graduate credit or for non-credit professional/continuing education purposes. 

The SDOE program is offered on-site at corporate locations around the world, online via Stevens WebCampus, and at the university's campus in Hoboken, NJ.
