Graduate Studies

In a world increasingly influenced by scientific and technological innovation, engineers provide important leadership to society by creating, developing, organizing, and managing complex technologies. 

The Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering is dedicated to educating students to have the breadth and depth of knowledge required to lead in their chosen profession and to provide the platform for continued personal and professional evolution through lifelong learning.

The graduate programs educate professionals to advance in technology-based organizations and enable scholars, through their research, to explore the frontiers of their disciplines.

The School of Engineering's graduate and professional development programs are designed to provide high quality education in delivery formats compatible to the complex education needs and working demands of today's professionals.

Master’s Degrees, Graduate Certificates, and Professional Development programs can be taken on-site at corporate locations, online via Stevens WebCampus, or at the university’s campus in Hoboken, New Jersey. 

Courses are offered in variety of formats ranging from intensive one week modules, traditional 15 week semesters, short courses and in customized formats including blended online/on-site instruction.

Stevens Master’s Degree programs in Engineering are comprised of ten courses, for a total of 30 graduate credits.  Master's Degree programs: 

Graduate Certificate programs are generally comprised of four courses, for a total of 12 graduate credits.  Credits earned in a Graduate Certificate program can be applied toward a Master’s Degree.
