Residential Component – Hoboken Campus

The residential component of the hybrid EMTM program at Stevens creates opportunities for interaction and networking with faculty and students who bring a wide range of experience and passion for both business and technology:

Year 1
Program begins with week-long residency
Online courses offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters
2-day bridge residency (Friday-Saturday) at the end of each semester

Year 2
Online courses offered in the fall and spring
Conclude with capstone course in the spring
2-day bridge residency (Friday-Saturday) at the end of each semester
Final bridge residency concludes with Graduation

What is a "Bridge Residency?"
Bridge residencies occupy two days and take place at the conclusion of each semester. They offer course wrap-up, final project presentation, an introduction to courses delivered next semester, plus networking and socializing.

Online Learning: A Critical Component

Your course material will be delivered through WebCampus, the award-winning online learning unit of Stevens Institute of Technology.

Comprehensive, practical, and designed with the adult learner in mind, WebCampus courses cover the same content as those conducted in conventional classrooms. When you complete your studies online, you receive the same degree, recognition, and credentials as your on-campus counterparts.

Web Conferencing: Interwise Platform

The Interwise Web Conferencing system allows you and your instructors to participate in real-time, recorded, and "on-demand" events. In a typical class web conferencing class, your instructor may conduct periodic sessions to deliver lectures, review homework, or answer questions. You can deliver presentations and answer questions from your classmates and instructors in real-time. Most web conferencing events are recorded so that you can play them back as many times as you need. You can also use the Interwise system to conduct web conferences with your classmates in preparation for projects.

WebCampus was awarded the "21st Century Best Practices Award for Distance Learning" by the United States Distance Learning Association two times in three years.
