Director, Information Assurance, C. R. “Charlie” Collazo is the Director of the Information Assurance (IA), Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG), Electronic Systems Center, under the Air Force Materiel Command, located at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
As Director, he is responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of information security systems and equipment. Major programs include the Air Force Electronic Key Management System, Air Force Public Key Infrastructure, Voice Call Sign, and various Cyber Security products. He is also responsible for the operation of a DoD Central Office of Record for Key accounting and distribution. The annual budget for the IA Directorate is approximately $50M with over 200 employees.
