From its inception, the CSW has focused on environmental issues, including global warming, pollution, alternative energy, biodiversity and overpopulation. To that end, in 2006 we created the Green Book Award, which honors books that address environmental issues in a compelling way.

The Center for Science Writings is currently accepting nominations for the 2009 Green Book Award.

The Center for Science Writings created the Green Book Award in 2007 to honor books that address environmental issues in a compelling way. The annual award includes a payment of $5,000.
