Graduate Fellowship Opportunities

Stevens and CSR awarded DHS Career Development Grant to support three full-time Master's Degree students

Stevens Institute of Technology in collaboration with the Center for Secure and Resilient Maritime Commerce (CSR) has been awarded its first DHS Career Development Grant.  The award will provide full tuition support and stipends for three full-time master's degree students pursuing a Stevens' Master's Degree in Maritime Systems with a Graduate Certificate in Maritime Security.

The objective of the fellowship program is to enhance the knowledge base, technical skills, and leadership capabilities of our nation’s future maritime security workforce and to provide greater access and tuition support for U.S. students pursuing a homeland security focused Master's Degree in Maritime Systems. This fellowship program will create enhanced experiential opportunities and direct pathways for highly skilled students to obtain technical leadership positions in the maritime security domain.

Information regarding the fellowship and criteria for admission can be found via the following Maritime Systems Fellowship Opportunities web link: http://www.stevens.edu/ses/maritime/FellowshipOpportunities.html

Qualified students may submit online applications between the weeks of October 11 - November 15, 2010.

Student awards will be made for the Spring 2011 and Fall 2011 semesters.
