Fellowship Opportunities:
Maritime Systems Master's Degree Fellowship Program
Stevens Institute of Technology in collaboration with CSR has recently been awarded a second DHS Career Development Grant. The 2011 DHS Career Development Grant will provide for full-tuition support and generous monthly stipends for three full-time students entering the Maritime Systems Master's degree program during the spring or summer 2012 academic semesters. The objective of the fellowship program is to enhance the knowledge base, technical skills, and leadership capabilities of our nation's future maritime security workforce and to provide greater access and support for U.S. students pursuing a homeland security focused Master's Degree in Maritime Systems. This fellowship program will create enhanced experiential opportunities and direct pathways for highly skilled students to obtain technical leadership positions in the maritime security domain.

Summer Internships:
CSR will offer two internship opportunities starting summer 2011, as part of the DHS HS-STEM Summer Internship program. Students selected to participate will engage in hands-on research and data collection as it relates to Maritime Surveillance Technologies and Sensors.
Additionally, summer interns will have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Research Institute, as part of their 10-week internship program.
