Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS)
at Unilever Bestfoods, 800 Sylvan Ave., Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632

Stevens offers a Master of Science degree in Information Systems (MSIS) with a concentration in Information Management.

Unilever has partnered with Stevens Institute of Technology to offer a Master's Program in Information Systems.

The MSIS Program is tailored to provide you with the requisite management, business, strategic, and technical skills needed to help your company apply information systems technology more efficiently and effectively.

Stevens MSIS faculty, who are nationally/internationally recognized experts in information technology, technology management, and business strategy, will teach MSIS students how to help their organizations achieve success through alignment and deployment of business and IT strategies. The MSIS program is an interdisciplinary combination of twelve courses for IT employees.

The instructor-led, e-learning MSIS Degree will be offered over a two-year period with each course being delivered over a thirteen-week semester. Online courses will combine live lectures, online discussions, individual and team projects where students perform tailored course exercises. Emphasis will be placed on participating in team projects which provide practical experience that can be applied immediately to student’s business objectives.

The program is called a “lock-step” program because you will remain with the same group of students for the twelve course program. Each semester your classes are reserved for you so you do not have to go through the traditional registration process. The lock-step program follows a unique calendar and this is not the same as the on-campus weeknight program that you will find on the university calendar.
