Pre-requisite courses for the MSIS program:

• MIS501 Information Management is a pre-requisite course for the MSIS program for students who do not have undergraduate courses in information systems or computer science with grades of B or better. Work experience can also be used to fulfill this requirement. The course is web-based and should be taken prior to your second semester of courses.
• MIS502 Introduction to Accounting, Microeconomics, Statistics and Finance is a pre-requisite course for the MSIS program for students who do not have undergraduate courses in accounting, economics, and statistics, all with a grade of B or better. This course must be taken on-line before your MGT623 Finance Management course.

The MSIS courses are offered through the School of Technology Management and courses are 3.0 credits. SIM Members will receive a 10% tuition scholarship at the completion of their MSIS courses each semester.    An Application for Candidacy must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar prior to February 1, for December completion, or April 1, for May completion. The AC must have the signature of your advisor.
    

2. Graduation Related Fees:
   
   There is a $250.00 Masters Degree graduation fee. If you expect to receive a Master's or Ph.D. degree, and a Graduate Certificate then only a $250 is due. Please make checks payable to Stevens Institute of Technology and mail to the Student Service Center (indicate it is a Graduation Fee). Alternatively, you may fax the Credit Card Billing Authorization form to the Student Service Center at 201-216-8050.
